Sector MU is a residential sector in Greater Noida (Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh), administered by the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA), in the southern / Omicron part of the city. It is not the same place as Noida Extension / Greater Noida West.
Where Sector MU sits
Greater Noida is planned on an alphabetical / Greek-letter sector grid. Sector MU lies near the Omicron sectors and Sector MU 2, in the part of Greater Noida oriented towards Pari Chowk, the Yamuna Expressway interchange and the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway. This is “Greater Noida proper” — the older, GNIDA-planned city — rather than the high-rise belt that grew up between Noida and Greater Noida.
